In October of 2008, my wife and I purchased a foreclosed home in Miami, Florida. Although we were eager to move in right away, our efforts were delayed due to the previous homeowner stripping the entire home. We needed to start from scratch and felt an overwhelming sense of relief that we could rely on the expertise of Kent Crook and KC Wiremasters in order to restore the electrical work of our new home. KC Wiremasters are professional and skilled electricians who have a passion for what they do and it shows in their work product. The entire home was completely reconfigured, and you and your team did an amazingly wonderful job on a very detailed plan from obtaining the permits to installing the last light bulb.

I don't normally take the time to write this sort of letter, but I wanted you to know how much I was impressed by the fine job two of your employees did at our home earlier this week. I just had to write and tell you how impressed I've been with you and
your team. I was first introduced to your company by my plumber, and
was pleased from the very start. Your electrician, Erik Rosado, and
his assistant, showed up on time, and was able to complete the task in
short order. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Just a few days
later, we developed a new electrical problem, and called you again. My
wife and I also made a list of electrical problems that had given us
trouble over the years which were never properly corrected by previous
electricians. Erik again showed up on time, and immediately began
tackling the problems. He corrected EVERYTHING, and quite frankly, I
was very concerned about how expensive this was going to be. To my
surprise, the bill was very reasonable.

I wanted to tell you about the wonderful service your company provided us today. We called yesterday and easily worked out a convenient time for a service call. Willie and Richard arrived on time, neat in appearance, and soft-spoken and cordial in conversation. We discussed what we wished to have done, wavered, discussed back and forth cost issues, etc, and finally decided on what was desired. They were patient throughout these discussions. Working well together, they accomplished everything in slightly less than 2 hours. The Wiremasters Electric Company door mat, the booties which were worn over work shoes, and the floor vacuuming at the conclusion of their work assured that everything was as neat in appearance at the end of the service call as at the start.
Before leaving, we were asked if we had any objection to having a company label placed inside our electric panel; there was none. The importance of obtaning a completely new panel was discussed and prices provided. We will consider this for the near future.

Your office phone answered promptly and courteously early Monday morning, and I was provided the opportunity to discuss the electrical problem I was experiencing. I was assured the problem would be evaluated during the day, and that I would be notified by phone 30 minutes before the service call. I was notified at a convenient time and Larry and Omar showed up as announced. They were neatly dressed and courteous, explained service call charges, listened to my story, identified the problem promptly and corrected it. Dear Kent:
I can't tell you how much we appreciate your recommendation to rewire our 1920s Coral Gables home, particularly when we know friends that have lost their homes due to old electrical wiring. Not only do we sleep well (and safely), but also we can avoid the replacement nuisance and the dependence on fire insurance to (partially) recover from a disaster that can be avoided.
The project is going very nicely, albeit a financially large investment, very much in line with your projection.
Your Service Technician and Helper are highly competent and professional, taking care to minimize the mess. What's impressive, though, is how efficiently and thoroughly they do their work.
We elected to make additional improvements, such as upgrading to new ceiling fixtures and more and better placed code-compliant receptacles. But what thrills us every day is the placement of dimmers everywhere. We can set the mood or need for light in every room, day or night. Even though we have more and better light, we might even see a lower electrical bill, just by lowering the power used (when turning down the dimmer) and having the additional benefit of extending the life of the light bulbs (10% doubles and 20% quadruples the life).

Dear Crossings,
Thank you for your timely reminder regarding having the couplers in the electrical panel checked in Crossings homes. When we noticed the piece printed in the latest "The Crossings Signal", by KC Electrical Services, we thought we would take advantage of the free estimate offered. For comparison purposes, we also asked another local company to come look at things, for which they charged us $65 (instead of the usual $85) because they were already attending to something at the house next-door to us. The two quotes weren't hugely different, (maybe $200), but we decided to go with the more expensive one, KC, because we were quite impressed by the professionalism of the Larry, the young man who did the estimate, plus the very good informative website the company has. Also, they charge by the job, so we had more of an idea how much to budget for. As it turned out, there was a challenge getting the heavy copper wire from the ceiling to the power meter, and if we had been paying by the hour, it would have been very worrying. As it is, we feel we got excellent value for our money. Our electrical panel was in bad shape, with considerable and very obvious scorching, plus burnt ends on the wires, plus a loose connection which was sparking on one of them. This really needed attending to. BTW, KC gave a three year warranty on their work. We are very satisfied with them. Thanks again for helping us avert a possible fire in our home.
